I know its silly

I've gone three days without needing my preventer, yeah I feel like jumping up and down. 2 months ago I went to a walking/surgery with an asthma attack. I don't even care about my xray in 2 weeks. I just want to enjoy this moment. ok I care about my xray but I finally feel like my asthma is under control. woohooo

Hi Modine...do you mean your reliever or your preventer?

Preventer medication should be taken regularly even if you are feeling well. This is the medication which stops you having asthma ""flare ups"" as it controls in a longer term manner the inflammation in your airways, it shouldn't be stopped without consultation with your medical team.

If it was 3 days without reliever medication then well done :)

Feejay

What Feejay said basically - don't stop your preventer! Though on the other hand I always seem to type the opposite to the one I meant... If it's the reliever you meant then yay, very well done! I would feel the same - I've actually managed to need mine a bit less over the last few days and am very pleased with that - not there yet but it's a start and means the preventer's doing something. 3 days is v.impressive though, hope it continues!

sorry I meant reliever(the blue one.) Still getting use to the names not had asthma long.

Great news modine!

(does little jump up and down with you to celebrate) :-)
