Royal Parks Half Marathon- in memory of Becks (WARNING - contains sensitive material)

Hi there, I'm new to this site as I do not suffer from asthma but it has affected my life. I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th Oct in memory of my best friend & my rock who sadly passed away from an asthma attack in 2006. She was aged just 26, always the life & soul of the party we liked to say she had PPS, Peter Pan Syndrome.

If anyone would like to sponsor me for this run please see justgiving.com/alexruns4becks donating is slow at present so I'm trying to gain as much interest as possible. Friends & releatives are currently helping me with a 10k I'm running first for a hospice who looked after my brother when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, also in 2006.

I'm hoping to raise awareness in the local community too about the fact asthma can & does kill so that more people go on first aid courses and know what to do if the worst should happen. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Alex
