Hi, afraid that I have no experience of this site, but having had a look at it myself, feel that if it encourages you to take exercise go for it. Despite having Brittle Asthma and using a syringe driver myself, I try to walk everyday with my furry friend Lottie. I will never climb mountains like I once did, but can still on a good day walk quite a few miles on the flat. I have found that by regular walking that whilst I am no light weight I can control it. Over the last 7 years between improving my fitness/asthma my walking as enabled me to lose 6 stone. I will never be a skinny lizzy but as long as I love me, I don't care. Apart from the health benefits of regular exercise, walking with Lottie Dog brings me great pleasure, I meet lots of fellow walkers, get to enjoy the wonders of nature and also relax. Over the past month, I have seen woodpeckers, blue bells, red campions, wood anemones, baby ducklings, herons, oh and of course lots of wonderful dogs. So I say to anyone, whether its a walk through your city park, a canal tow path or the local fields, go for a walk if you can, its not a race enjoy the physical and mental health benefits.
