Asthma and sage tea

Hi,

My best friend has had asthma all her life and she swears by sage tea, which she believes has improved her symptoms greatly. My asthma is not well controlled at the moment and I am keen to try this tea in conjunction with all my other medication, but just wondered if anyone else has tried this tea and found any improvement.
