Ezcema in my ear

After such awful pain in my ear I've just been told I've very got ezcema inside of my ear ? Anyone else out there got it ? What do u use treatment wise ? Is it always so so painful ?

I've got a patch of eczema on my neck - it always clears up when I'm on steroids so if you have to have any pred for your asthma that might clear the eczema up at the same time. Mine is persistent but hydrocortisone cream does help - would probably help me more if I remembered to put it on twice a day.

It must be awful getting it in your ear - treatment must be a nightmare! I get it all over the place when I'm stressed or run down and if I catch it early enough hydrocortisone works a treat, but I've got some scary bright pink shampoo for when I get it on my scalp and if all else fails good old Betnovate does the job.

It is often painful, especially when it pops up on the inside of your elbow or knee and can be embarrassing when it creeps across your face. But for me those aren't the worst things. Its the itching that drives me NUTS.

If the treatment you're using doesn't have any effect within a few days go back to your GP and ask for something else - I've found that if I don't get it under control quickly other patches pop up in unexpected places overnight.

By the way, I love the idea of living in a rabbit hole where people can't get to me and I may well go outside and start digging.

Yes I have it too it drives me crazy sometimes! I use otomize ear spray which helps me.
