Hi there,

Thank you for your message. A lump in the vaginal opening could be something like a cyst or skin tag, or if you mean the clitoris which is external, rather than inside the vaginal opening, then the itch may be due to thrush or possible an STI. We'd advise making an appointment at GUM clinic or with your doctor to get it checked out.

Best Wishes,

Ask Eve

it’s actually the opposite way , the lump thing is in the whole to where the man puts his stuff in when you have sex

Hi,

So yes, that is the vagina. Again, it might be a cyst or skin tag if there is a lump, but the itching suggests perhaps more of an infection or upset to your natural PH balance of the vagina. Definitely book in to see your doctor so that it can be sorted out and stop the discomfort it's causing you.

Wishing you well.

Ask Eve.

I have a lump on the left side of the area where the top of my vagina inside bulges out.Primarily after sex and after getting out of the shower or the tub is when it is extremely noticeable.I was told it is fluid in my culd-de-sac which happens when fluids back up into your falopian tubes instead of releasing naturally. They told me to be careful and make sure to keep as many sexual partners down as possible because the change isn't good for your body and it could cause a rupture and be very dangerous. They said mine was the size of a golf ball but it wasn't cancerous and to just keep doing my regular checkups because it's important to ensure that it doesn't become milagment.

Wouldn't hurt to try see what they say.My doctor told me that it's caused by fluid in my ovaries that are not being released as they should be from the endometriosis. Also stress caused me to miss my period often and have super heavy like 2 day periods when I did have them which were so bad I'd get really weak and sometimes come close to fainting. They said in my paperwork that They did a trans abdominal and transvaginal scan (pelvic ultrasound) and that they later in the transvaginal scanned better to focus on the uterus, endometrium and the adnexa. In the results mine said that my uterus is anteverted and gives the measurements. Also says my endometriocal stripe is 5mm and then gives the sizes of my ovaries which my right ovarie is 6x1x2mm larger than the left.Perhaps that's why the pain is always in the right side of mine Idk.Also states that there was free fluid in the culdesac.

Hopefully this gives you something to try to look into maybe it'll give u some same general answers.
