Had Cardioversion this morning was stressed about it but all very smooth. Wheeled in after explanations and a cannella fitted. Had sedation administered and then woke up in recovery and offered so ethink to eat and drink.. didn’t notice the procedure .In fact was surprised to find myself back where I started. The letter to GP said “ the Cardioversion was successful post procedure and ECG showed sinus rhythm …” so so far so good I feel…very whoosh and tired in fact been to bed for few hours.

Please rest and relax for a few days now. Do stay well hydrated of course.
Brilliant. I had similar experience and woke feeling great last November. Heart still in sinus rhythm. Don’t push yourself at all for a couple of weeks. I did what Jean Jeannie suggested ., Don’t carry heavy bags or walk up hills for a couple of weeks and still fine.. ❤️
i’m so glad you tell people that Bob for some reason a lot of people seem to think OK I’m all better now. They don’t understand the healing the trauma of a I when something feels mess it there is nothing more important than having that great feeling from a successful procedure
it took me a while to learn just how easy you can undo good stuff maybe I baby myself sometimes but it’s worth it to feel better
you are such a good role model
congratulations I love it when I hear someone is getting a break from a fib. my first cardioversion was successful and I knew even when I was first opening my eyes because I felt amazing lol that sounds silly, but I was waking with a smile. Sure enough I was in rhythm with an 82 heart rate compared to the almost 200 I living with for over six months. That’s why we this seriously not enough to let it run your life all the time, but we do do as we are told most of the time. I had 3 1/2 weeks of happiness. L O L in the hospital my doctor laughed at me. I actually had a case of the giggles. I don’t know if it’s because I was happy. He seemed to think it was the cocktail they had given me lol maybe we should get that all the time. I know a lot of people that need a case of the giggles.
