Great news and thanks for posting. And it's not just Xarelto, but similar is offered for Eliquis and other AC's.
Unfortunately, these offers usually don't pertain to those of us on Medicare which is a large proportion of the US afib population. And I believe there may be also other limitations, but not sure.

You're welcome! Thanks for the update about the other brands like Eliquis. At first, I was offered Eliquis, a few years ago. I felt it made me tired but I also was not feeling very well yet, it was just after my cardiac arrest. But the high cost also was a deterrent. A few months ago after a colonoscopy when then put the IV on the same side as my pacemaker, I got a blood clot in my upper arm. I thought I could not get a blood clot, I am only 60, physically fit (I almost swim every day), afib only 1% of the time... so I was then put on blood thinner!
They must be making up the shortfall in Africa !!!!! Last year they brought out a version of Xarelto and called it iXorolo. The tablet was identical as was the packaging and the manufacturer's details - the only difference was the name of the box and the price which was less that half of that of Xarelto. Now, in the last few months the price has shot up to itds original or more, and it is more expensive the Eliquis.!
