Hi Marymara, I hope you are able to get treatment for the underlying congenital condition. It seems it took a long time for this to be diagnosed and I pick up you are frustrated with the cardiologist? I think in your situation I would be looking for a second opinion. You are entitled to this on NHS but could be a long wait. In your situation I would consider paying to see a private EP or cardiologist to discuss all your options. I found the benefits of having a good long consultation - to my wellbeing and further treatment- far outweighed the cost. Best of luck

Thankyou, I have since 4 different consultants over the years already, I think I must be coming across wrong, I am fully aware of all of the options, I question I just wanted some feed back on pulmonary hypention PH not PAH they is a big difference

Sorry to hear of your dilemma. I don’t know if anyone on here will be able to help your particular condition as we are not medically trained. I don’t know what tests you had done initially, but surprised they have only just found this. I had an echocardiogram to find out if any other heart condition was causing AF. I thought this was standard practice. I think l would go private here, as already suggested, to get yourself feeling better. All the best.
