Warfarin.

I usually take my Warfarin at about 6 pm. This morning I accidentally took them. I suppose I just start taking them again tomorrow evening as usual. I was rather worried about having too much Warfarin in my system. There is nothing I can do about it now.

Dont worry it is a very slow response and will average out over the next 24 hours. Even if your INR doubled (it won't) it still won't cause a problem.

Do you self test with a Coaguchek XS device for your INR or do you rely on your surgery.

I can't check it.

Sorry benmaise but I have no experience with warfarin, I was diagnosed with AF in 2009 and put on aspirin until 2019 when I had a hip replacement and placed on edoxaban. In 2022 I changed to Apixaban.

You're right, just carry on and resume tomorrow. No real problem if your INR result is between 2-3.If you're still worrying eat things containing potassium, brocoli potatoe skins etc. I can drop my results quickly that way.

PS. Stop worrying. Good luck. It'll settle in a few days.
