Hi itsanass. Sorry to hear you’ve got paroxysmal Afib. I’ve found this a great place for sharing experiences, learning about Afib and treatments, support and signposting. A lot of people here with far more knowledge and experience than me, so when you’ve got a question just ask.
Did you see this link posted today by Paul - a great starting point for your homework.
Buy the afib cure by dr John day and dr Jared bunch available from Amazon and elsewhere. Super information.
Back about 2 years ago I was diagnosed with the same and around that time I had 3 or 4 horrible PAF attacks which involved ambulances and A&E and since then not a lot. I’ve made a lot of changes to my life and although I get the occasional bumpy few minutes I’m ok. Just Edoxaban and no other medication currently.
My pacemaker first installed 15 years ago for Bradycardia tells me my last event was in January and lasted 1 min 15 seconds. I thought I had wind !
Good luck in how you choose to face up to it … I was galvanised to change by a consultant who told me “ It will get worse as you get older”.
He could be right but I love a challenge.
My triggers are alcohol, caffeine, lack of sleep, over eating and most of all irritating and unreasonable people. Unfortunately I know the latter are the most difficult to totally remove because sometimes, very occasionally, I am one too.
