I was on Candesartan for about 20 years and no problem at all. Fortunately my BP is normal now and don't need anti hypertensive drugs.

Could there be an interaction with anything else you are taking?

When you say ‘flutter’ do you mean ‘Flutter’ (diagnosed) or a fluttery feeling? I’m asking because the two are quite different. But to answer, no, I take 8mg Candesartan and found it seemed to improve my symptoms. What was your dose increased to?

Yes, important to know if you mean atrial flutter or a sense of palpitations in your chest.

If you have noticed real arrhythmias, they are all ultimately related to inflammatory pathways.

Candesartan is one of the “good” drugs that lower total body and myocardial inflammation, so unless your dose is excessive and you are actually a bit hypotensive and uncomfortable, it should be unrelated.
