I was seen by a by the cardiologist and was reassured he felt that some of my breathing issues were due to asthma he advised I loose a little more weight and that I would probably be waiting around 6 months for an ablation. So the plan is forward and upwards

It's amazing how losing weight can make you feel so much better. That's certainly what I've discovered, though I've never really been overweight A wait of 6 months for an ablation is a very reasonable time. I've had 3 ablations, so can tell you that there's not a lot to them, but you can feel drained of energy for quite a while afterwards. There is a forum on Health Unlocked just for people with AF. I'll find you the link.
