Hi, I have been in verapamil for several years and it's the first drug for my ad that I have had no problems with whatsoever. Just over a year ago I had them increased as my af was quite bad but no problems when it was increased. Give it a try. Hope it works for you too

I had the same happen to me with Verapamil. Then it failed to work completely and i began to have very bad thumping palps. and went to A and E. Long story short is it messed up my system big time .I needed a total review of all my meds and a cardio visit to sort it out. Not sure if this is unique to Verapamil but maybe be aware of this as a possibilty.I now take bisoprolol which seems alright in subduing my AF 'attacks'.
