i too had vertigo couldnt get out of bed.GP said it was an ear problem.I went to opticianas wasnt convinced as I had visual disturbances.I had glaucoma which causes dizziness nausea and visual disturbances.I was referred to eye clinic urgently so maybe might be worth getting your eye pressure checked.

I've had vertigo twice before, once at the onset of a stroke, and secondly with very low blood pressure. It arrived again 14 days after my fifth COVID vaccination recently. The internet indicates that others have had severe vertigo with COVID or after a COVID vaccination.

There could be many causes, but my friend...disclaimer...he has no heart or vision issues...had a wicked case of vertigo, complete with strange auras, flashes of light, coloured halos etc. Turned out it was an era infection. The meds to clear it up were wicked, but it worked.

Personally, I had a wicked case of vertigo about a decade ago...turned out to be water in my left ear from swimming the previous day...I had NO idea what was going on, because as far as I could recall, I hadn't gotten any in my ear....it leaked out after about 4 hours. To be honest I was a bit concerned, as I was at our cottage...no neighbours, sketchy cell service, all alone. The nearest ambulance/hospital was 60kms away, so ya, a tad concerned. I had gone to bed just fine, and woke up..put my feet down to get out of bed, tried to stand up aaaaand over I went...luckily back onto the bed...tried three more times...no joy. Good times eh?

Here is hoping your's is also something with a quick and easy solution :^)

vertigo really is awful even just laying on the bed and turning your head can send your head spinning. I have always been quite a swimmer so seem to always have ear issues. Right now my oxygen is running about 92 or below and again this morning 148 that is what I wake up with for a heart rate I pretty much just have to stay still. You wouldn’t think that could be that difficult but it is

My ear acted up yesterday and when I mentioned it to my cousin he said it was my equilibrium. I bounced off of a piece of furniture at the doctors at least I know now why it happened lol. My ear finally cleared last night. Between medication‘s and everything else I think the doctors need to sort it out I give up. At least I’m off one med today. He told me stop the multaq because it’s useless. I will not take my metropolol until the day before my cardioversion. They only let you know a day ahead of time for that it all depends how my echo goes on Friday because I need to go under anesthesia.

has anyone else here had a chemical cardioversion? That is what I am going to have they put some thing down your throat and it is the way they do cardioversions here.
