Does any one have experience of a Withings Scan watch for detecting AFib.

I don’t but just noticed that it is one of the devices you can link to the App that our local hospital use for all info and input. Interestingly - it doesn’t include the iWatch - which seems odd to me. Wouldn’t take that as an endorsement though!

I've no experience with the Scan watch, but others on here have made good reports. Just search for those posts.

I did have the Withings MoveECG watch, which I can NOT recommend. The "one year battery life" barely made four months (replaceable battery) and after the fourth battery change, the plastic case crumbled and the crystal broke under the pressure of trying to put the back on. The support from Withings was non-existent. There was a lot of criticism of them on their 'customer forum'.

I have a Withings smart watch. It does detect AFib and I find it really good. My only complaint is the battery. I have had the watch over 12 months now and the battery needs replacing but though I have taken it to so many jewellers and watch repairers, no-one can take the back off. It is still working fine but the battery runs out every few days. No help at all from Withings. I will not buy another one. In any case, though it detects AF so well, I know I have AF so what good does it do me. I can`t recommend.

I've just bought a withings scanwatch, but despite having set to alert me to afib it doesn't do so. I had afib for 5 hours yesterday and scanwatch did no alerts whatsoever. Doing a manual ecg on it did show afib... but no automatic scan alerts. Any tips?

Hello Bunny, is it because you are like me and have AF all the time? You say you had AF for 5 hours yesterday but I don`t really understand this. I can check mine on my watch any time of the day or night and I am always in A fib. Surely lots of us are like that? My watch does not alert me because I have permanent A fib. Does this make sense?Kathleen

Hi . I have paroxysmal AF, it comes and goes. Some of us have this, spending some time I NSR and some in AF
