My husband was fitted with an implantable loop recorder as he was having episodes of feeling faint, sweaty, clammy, tummy upset , nausea low be, etc. The recorder shows he has PAF. I’m wondering if these symptoms are caused by going into AF or going back into normal rhythm. He is normally unaware when he goes into AF.
Not having a checkup until next February, presumably the one year recorder review. He has been prescribed apaxaban, but no AF meds. He is under the supervision of a electro cardiologist, who we initially saw privately 18 months ago after one very worrying episode when his blood pressure remained very low for the whole day. At that time he was diagnosed with probable vaso-vagal syncope.
Advice please,
