good morning folks, well after 14 days in hospital I am now on the list to get this device this afternoon. I’ve been told I have to contact the DVLA and surrender my licence for six months, is it easy to get it back?

I could be wrong but I believe that you can only start driving again if the ICD has NOT triggered in the previous six months. Others may know more. Makes perfect sense to me .

When you notify the DVLA you can expect a bit of a wait to get a response. I informed them of my CRT-P at the end of January and got the all clear letter last week.
