Hiya Buff, thanks for that .... very, very interesting. Must read it again and take it all in. Not just what is written but thinking about it all.

Oh come the day of personalised medicine! So much could be done even now - if there were more rather than fewer resources available!

I was particularly interested in the Pacemaker personalisation because to be honest - I thought that was already possible because I know my pacemaker helps with exercise but of course it was designed for working with AV node ablation. I then found this study which indicates it isn’t - ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

But then it refers only to atrial pacing and designed for HF patients - whereas my RST PM paces both ventricles.

Well….not quite it seems, that indeed would be heaven but unlikely on the NHS methinks.
