amaurosis fugax
I'd never heard of this before Nugger, so looked it up and now have my Google 'Know All' badge. Are you waiting for any treatment?
Hope someone comes along who has had it and been cured, so they can advise you.
Best wishes.
Jean
Do you take anticoagulants?
I'd never heard of this, but a Google search revealed this interesting guidance: mft.nhs.uk/app/uploads/site...

I’ve had it two times. A gray curtains slowly covered my left eye, it lasted a couple of minutes, the second one was darker and some flashing lights and lasted around 4-5 minutes. Really scary.
Aspirin. I’m already on Coumadin. The problem is aspirin makes my stomach ache, my neurologist recommended trying it three times a week, so that’s what I’m going to try.
Oh, they also recommended statins, but I don’t want to take them.
Thanks for the reply Julia, my mum just started on statins a week ago, I told her, I don’t approve, I know so many people they’ve tried to put on statins, including myself, I have a close friend who’s a doctor & straight away, he said, o no, you don’t want to be taking them, checked my blood results & said I’m fine!!!
