Hiya

Has anyone on here (but particlarly Devon) ever received a patient contract to sign because they asked for a trial of T3 medication?

Thanks

I took T3 for about ten years. No contract needed to be signed.I am in Oxfordshire. It is not readily prescribed but at the time I could not take T4 .Recently my T3 has been stopped by agreement between me and geratologist /endocrinologist .

Oh did it not work for you then, why did you agree if you could not tolerate T4?

So were you pressurised into stopping T3 by them if it worked for you, sorry to ask but dont see why you agreed to them stopping it if it worked?😎

No I was not pressurised into stopping T3!It was to do with dosing onT4 and continuing to take T3.I took advice from an endocrinologist as my TSH was erratic.

Sorry just a bit confused, hope you dont mind me asking did they check your FT4 and FT3? They could have suggested T3 only which would help your heart?

Best wishes

I had my thyroid levels checked also and they put me on xymogen t3 which I believe is selenium zinc and iodine and may be able to get on line without a prescription. There was no contract

Hi

Ive looked up XmogenT3 which is just a supplement, its not a thyroid hormone such as T4 and T3. What were your levels with the ranges and what did they test? If your levels were out a supplement will not cure thyroid problem it will only suppirt it. Y need T4 or T3 for that.
