Regular and irregular reports of ECGs from PulseBit XE.
I recently purchased the above heart rate monitor. It produces a 1 lead heart wave but only has a "regular" and "irregular" diagnoses, unlike the Kardia which, regrettably is not supported by AliveCor in Greece, and can name a variety of arrhythmia.
I attach a couple of scans and would appreciate if a fellow AFib member can tell if the irregular scan is due to AFib.
All the best to us all and thank you. Saul

Hi Saulger, It looks a useful aid. From my inexperienced perspective I note:
- 31Aug. NSR with pulse of ~52 bpm
- 1 Sept. AFib as irregular distances between peaks. You may have a facility on the aid the measure this, otherwise you'll have to count the squares and work it from there. Expect to get a variation along the lines of 45- 100 (example only)
Thanks a lot, Vince, appreciated. I noticed the irregular spacing on the graph and could also feel it when taking the pulse, which was irregularly irregular (i.e. no repeating irregular pattern). Yes, it's a useful aid as I was not aware before that the pulse was quite higher than my normal resting NSR.
The only shortcoming is that it doesn't diagnose the type of arrhythmia, just says "irregular"...
Thank you DrDave01. I thought as much. It's hard to miss the odd and debilitating sensation when AFib strikes. I will try to follow it up with a health professional soon, with a new lockdown looming in Athens. All the best.
