Me again. So I've been suddenly getting tachycardia 5.5 months post ablation. I assumed it was due to amiadarone leaving the system, but could it have been triggered by a hefty fall I had on my bike last week? It was 5 days before the first tachy episode. Several friends have said it might have been triggered by the crash, is that possible? Actually, it seems like everything and anything and nothing is possible with afib etc, but thought I'd ask!
I'm fine, by the way, just a raw elbow and lots of sore bits and a colourfully bruised elbow. Could have been very nasty and my fault completely (braked too hard and locked front brake and skidded). Boy, that floor ain't arf got hard since I was a kid! It was soooooooo painful 😫

I'm very vain about my teeth so I'm glad I didn't land on my face! The elbow bruise is fascinating, you can see the seam of my jacket and the texture of the material sort of 'imprinted' in the bruise. Kind of like a living Turin Shroud!
I had a go on my friends scooter - as he likes to keep up with his little boy, So I had a go with little Jamie, Jamie was fine but I came off. this was back in August - Goodness how that hurt - took ages to heal and still have a mark on my knee. Also a little embarassing - well very. Don't think anyone saw me as it was a Sunday evening. Stay Safe.
I really hope no one saw me I still wonder if I should avoid walking past those houses on my daily walk as they might be looking out and saying something like: "There goes that old idiot who fell off a scooter"
I did that on some gravel on one of my first rides after getting my pacemaker last year, landing on my left shoulder. Fortunately no apparent damage to the device or leads and they’re still working 😁. I was also concerned because of the Apixaban but I only had the slightest of grazes.
Interesting! Let's hope it is just tht. I'm having a real kaleidoscope display around the forearm! Every day a different set of colours - gotta laugh!!!!
