Have had anaesthetic several times. Never questioned about afib. Drs nurses aware of and handled appropriately.

Usually postings have a question. I'm not seeing a question in yours. Is there one? If not, don't worry, there doesn't have to be one.

Regarding anesthetic, my afib showed itself for the first time when I had a hernia operation. As soon as they put me under it started to kick up. This stopped everything and put me back on a plane to the island I live on. 3 months later had the operation.

My consultant needed information and an ECG before he would give me anaesthetic for a minor operation recently. Plus stopping my edoxaban, of course!
