Many thanks to everyone that replied to my post of 2 days ago.
I spoke with my Cardio people this morning who suggested that I should go back to A&E, which I did.
Spent 6 hours in A&E this afternoon seeing various doctors and having all sorts of tests done.
The conclusion is that the problem is being caused by a ejection fraction of 30% and heart rate of below 40 beats per minute.
The docs have reduced the Bisoprolol to 2.5mg, If after 4 days my HR is still below 50 I am to reduce to 1.25mg, Also has referred me for an urgent appointment with the heart failure team to see what can be done about th ejection fraction here hoping
TTFN and thanks for your suggestion and support.

Glad to hear you're slowly getting sorted and hope that all your stats soon return to normal. I can't help but wonder how your heart would be without any bisoprolol. Please let us know how you get on.
Hi Mat, I was left on 12.5 mg of bisoprolol a day after my first cardioversion despite me repeatedly asking if they were sure (195 bpm before cardioversion and 55 bpm after)
A few days later I had to call my EP as I felt so awful and he was horrified that I had not been told to reduce or stop the bisop. I know that he tore the junior doctor involved a new one after my call.
I don't know your history but I was in AF for about 6 months before my cardioversion, 3 months of it untreated so my ejection fraction was reduced and my Left Atrium enlarged.
At my 3 month check up my EF had returned to normal and my LA was almost back to normal size.
