I am very interested in POTS or postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. One of my grandsons has been diagnosed with it. Sanjay Gupta has got a lot of videos on POTS on youtube and you would probably find them interesting and helpful.

There are quite a few medications and he talks about them too.

Thank you so much Physalis .Just spent a while looking at Dr,S.G.Youtubes and they were very helpful, although seemed to stop before the medications appeared.I appreciate your concern ,and wish you all the best with your own condition.2000:Red Rose

I will post in the STARS forum soon, when I've got time. My grandson tried Midodrine but discontinued it. Since my ablation and my drop in blood pressure when I stood up to go home that day I'm wondering if there is a connection between his condition and mine. But it's early days.

In a word - Yes - go to the STARS site on AA for info on living with POTS & managing the condition.

Any other associated conditions? Often there are.
