I fall into this category and I was first diagnosed with SVT... then atrial flutter .... then atrial fibrillation.... then atrial tachycardia. I don’t have any current co-morbidities, my heart is structurally good and I have a coronary calcium score of 0. But I can look back to my pregnancy complications and hypertensive crisis in the delivery room and say there is a link. Research shows that preeclampsia in pregnancy increases stroke risk and the risk of heart problems later in life. My past is catching up with me 😀
Interesting. Did anybody else hear him yesterday speaking on the COVID crisis on Radio 4 and the closing of many specialist departments? He was quite critical, in a very polite and gentle way.
