This week me and the Other half are in isolation because we're showing some of the symptoms of corona (we've been looking after positive patients at work with sporadic PPE over the last few weeks)
Neither of us has had the temp spike to the level that the NHS website says should be considered as corona, we've been just off, and we've had a cough and the body aches and the extreme tiredness and me personally have had a noticable increase in my resting HR (92 resting inexplicably) though it's all stayed in NSR. There has been some chest pain similar to when I had a chest infection (lower right quadrant) and today I lost my sense of taste and smell.
Work told us today we should be isolating for 7 days because of the cough, though we'd only been going to/from work for the last 3 weeks anyway (and the mrs been doing an aldi shop on her own once a week).
Has anyone here had symptoms, or an effect on their AF, or have we all escaped it so far?

4 weeks ago my wife and myself had the same symptoms as each other.
Sore throat, cough, extreme fatigue, aching all over. Searing headache, Odd feeling in upper chest. Not sure about temperature as our thermometer is 18 years old and not sure if it's working correctly it kept saying I was 34°c, but I did feel hot on my chest and back.sometimes I felt like my skin was on fire from head to toe.
There was one day when I believe I lost my sense of taste but at that time it wasn't a known symptom so I wasn't looking for it.
It took about 14 days for us to start feeling better.
My HR also went up into the high 90's and I had long runs of bigeminy and ectopics for several days, this is pretty normal for me when I am fighting an illness though.
So, I think I may have had "it" but with our governments failure to do any proper testing I have no idea, and have to continue as if I haven't.
I hope things don't progress any further for you and your wife, and a massive thank you for your hard work and dedication like all NHS workers. We are in your debt.

Not sure if I've had it or not, had a few grotty days mid March with a very sore throat which lasted 5 or so days, no runny nose or sneezing, that then turned into a cough which I've still got and odd headaches which I rarely get ( now resolved) , no noticeable temp increase though.. Had a bit of conjunctivitis with it as well which I've not had for decades, all very odd. On the good side no effect on AF. Maybe it's far more widespread than we think, I guess time will tell !

How odd, I have had exactly the same symptoms as you. Even the conjunctivitis. My great grandchildren appear to have had the virus as had their mother and now my daughter is battling her way through it but who knows if any of us have had it.

Yes very odd, not the flu s I've had before and that floored me and not what I would call a typical heavy cold which always gets your nose, bit of a strange one, but didn't feel ill enough to really think it was Covid, for example I was on leave but had I not been I would have gone in work in normal circumstances
My wife and I had similar last November and again in February. Until such time as a retrospective test can be found we just have to assume that these were corona virii other than covid 19. It is a strange situation we find ourselves in since in UK we are assumed innocent till proven guilty yet with this situation the reverse is the case. Just carry on as if you haven't had it because that is the right thing to do.
We had something similar to you in November Bob, with a dry cough that lasted 10 weeks. We’ve been wondering too, but I don’t think it could’ve been Covid 19 because quite a lot of people had it and there was no spike in the death rate like there is now. Wish it had been though x
I had the same Hilly. Persistent dry cough day and night which was really debilitating and wiped me out for days. The cough was so bad it made me heave at times. I am also wondering if it was CV as it was midish Feb. Only know if we take a test. Keep well.
I was infected but at first didn’t realise what it was, so yes, I was going out shopping. Best description is “aching lungs” to the extent I fleetingly wondered if I were having a heart attack. 5 days late I started with a dry cough, headache and fatigue and just a slight sore throat. I was generally off for about 3 days but I am just about back to normal now.
I’m not aware of having lapsed into Afib.
However, it is one thing going onto NHS 111 online and being told to self isolate and actually having a test. I would feel a lot safer knowing that I definitely have had it. Roll on the anti body testing.
Yes, both my husband and myself have had CV symptoms.
Husband went down about 4 weeks ago with terrible persistent cough, raised temperature , exhaustion and a couple of days of fast breathing.
I thought that I had escaped it as, paradoxically I had never felt so well with loads of energy. 'Twas not to be as 2 weeks later I succumbed....very bad persistent dry cough, exhaustion and generally feeling very unwell but no temperature spike but conjunctivitis.
My A/tachy returned so I now take daily Bisoprolol instead of as Pip and seems to working.
Cough is the worst for me...GP prescribed antibiotics as ' could be upper respiratory infection '. Who knows ??!
I was wondering how you were coping in these dark times. You know how much we value all that you and your fellow workers do.

I’ve had a cough and sore and itchy throat and under par now over a week now, hubby before me, of course here in France we r total lockdown , can’t go out without our documents, son shops for us which is handy.....funny enough I keep getting I wake up in night and my heart’s wizzing fast 90/92....but not af.....it goes on an hour or so and calms done.....never had that before....I was goung to ask others but you’ve asked first.
The HR thing was really unusual - normally it's up when I've got a cold but its NSR. On this occasion we'd done nothing all day, I felt really rough and tired and just "off" without putting my finger on it and my HR was up in the 90s from just lying on the sofa feeling washed out.
Really sorry to hear this and hope that you have both seen the worst of this. To say thank you to you and the others who are putting their lives on the line daily seems so understated and underwhelming so I hope all of you out there know how truly grateful we are.
Hi there! I have had the same symptoms, but no fever or breathing difficulties. Also lost my smell and taste. Have had these now three weeks+. I did test positive! Been in isolation since travelling back home from the sunny south. Got exposed a lot in planes and airports. Been in isolation a month on Sunday. Still no smell, taste a bit better, rough throat only occasional cough. Hubby is fine, but also isolating. After all my symptoms are gone, wait another 14 days. So looks like this will continue for a while for both of us.
I have the symptoms at the moment and have had them for 7 days. Dry cough, temperature up by 1 degree C, slightly sore throat, slight headache at times but not breathless. On day 6 I went onto NHS 111 online for advice and was told to self isolate for 7 days from onset of symptoms which of course I have done (felt too ill to do anything else). I am beginning to wonder if I have something else like Legionnaires disease as no improvement. I wish we could be tested so that we could know whether we need to get to the GP or not.
