Anyone had one of these fitted in chest area to get better diagnostic info about how Afib affecting you ,and show cardiologist more info!

Sounds like a loop recorder or reveal which many have I suspect. There are two types. one about the size of a memory stick and the newer ones which are about the thickenss of a pencil and can be injected.

I had one put in about three years ago. Battery is still working (supposed to last 3 years) handy to have the data when needed. Procedure was easy. Hope yours went well.

Hi thanks , mines got put in just over a week ago ,sore the first week but calmed dawn now all ok and it seems to work ok 👍

The area was sore for about 10 days and I still have bruising.

Yes it’s been 2 and a bit weeks now my bruising just away now , hurts when I move a certain way or touch it , but ok otherwise doing it’s job ,

How are you doing? I was told after I had mine in for a couple of days, that the dr. was going to put in a pace maker. The next day he called me back and said he reviewed my stats and decided not to put in pacemaker and he didn't know what was wrong with me!

I've had mine's in for months now . And got cardio phone consultation this Friday afternoon. I'll know more then . I was told it would probably be ablation again or pacemaker ...
