Does anyone know if there is any restriction on flying after having the watchman or similar device fitted.

I have been told there are no flying restrictions also no mri restrictions. Watchman implantedv 9 days ago.

I had my device fitted 18mths ago and have flown 4times since incl Australia with no restrictions. The security scanner has gone off a couple of times but could be totally unrelated and due to something worn. I've never minded a quick pat down but you could always carry a card or letter with the relevant info.

The Watchman or my Amplatzer do not set off alarms but my pacemaker does.
