Just had to sell my properties in Mayfair and Park Lane to pay the rent for staying in a Hotel on Leicester Square. Spent some time in jail (or gaol) as well. What a way to end 2019. I really hate Monopoly! Nice to have all the family home (and sober mostly.. HNY everybody. )

You had me worried there for a minute, Bob. Then I remembered you played British monopoly whereas we have the American version. Thank you for managing HealthUnlocked. It has been a comfortable place as I have gone through all the stages of Afib and other aspects of heart problems.

I love owning Mayfair and Park Lane, so have great sympathy if you had to sell them. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year Bob. X

Hope 2020 provides all you would like it to. My English teacher now turning in her grave as I ended sentence with a proposition. No no, not that sort of proposition - PREPOSITION and I was asleep by 10.30pm.!!

HNY to you and Sam. Also big thanks for all your responses. We played electronic Monopoly last year with credit cards etc. Same properties etc. But I like to see my spondulux in a big pile.

Hi BobD

One good thing about the New year is, my eye sight has improved. I now have 2020 vision.

Hi Bob,

HNY to you as well. Haven’t been on HU a lot recently since the PM,(not the one in Downing Street), seems to be keeping things in order. Doesn’t cure the AF of course, but gives me a nice regular 70 bpm at rest.

Been meaning to come on to say that I have been using Amazon a lot recently, for purchases for house renovation, and have signed up for smile.amazon. Using this they make donations to a charity of your choice and I have selected AFA as my choice. It’s a good way of increasing my donations to AFA.

Best wishes to you and all others on HU.

Walter.

PM?? (and I was thinking more medical than political?)

Hi Polly,

Yes, was medical I was talking about. PaceMaker.

Many moons ago I lived in London and spent a very entertaining night with a few mates doing a pub-crawl down the Old Kent Road. A pint in every pub - we didn't make it!

I'd rather have that than the posh stuff in Mayfair.

Some of our overseas AF community would be delighted at the low cost medical care available in Monopoly.

😄😄.

Loved it but hated landing on someone else’s Mayfair! Happy 2020 Bob - keep on keeping on.

Wish I could get stuck into the gin and advocaat but it would spark an episode of flutter so 2 pints of 5% IPA is my max... Never mind... I can always live on magnesium sandwiches... lol.... Today I must research ZANTAC coz the telly said it gives you cancer and there was a pubic service announcement to that effect..... jeez meet the new year..same as the old year

Sorry to hear that, Bob, hope they fed you well. If you end up with 'time' on your hands again, maybe you could make up an AFIB monopoly game.......

All the best

The utilities provide a regular steady income with cheaper outlay than leading the high life, with the Mayfair Set! You are the creme de la creme of volunteers, par excellence! Happy New Year to you and your lovely wife.
