Advice please

Need a bit of advice today please. Feel a bit rough today, BP ok but HR all over the place. One minute 56 then 76 ++ then drops my monitor shows an erratic heart rate at the moment. Feel a bit breathless. Not had this before when in AF or is it AF. I had a 6 monthly steroid injection on Wednesday could this have affected me?

Hi, I would say it is your body reacting to the injection it has only been 48 hours by the sound of it. I would rest up and give your heart a chance to level out..

Hello Ti--Im not a dr ,,but I can tell you steroids mess with the heart or can--so it should settle down before to long--I wont touch anything like that--2 swallows of coffee and my heart goes berserk--Hang in there--it will get better soon and if it worsens you might think about going in--Blessings MmeT

My husband, who has no heart rhythm problems, experienced raised heart rate for a day after a steroid injection. If your heartbeat is regular, then it isn’t AF but if it doesn’t resolve itself it might be better to have it checked out.
