Hi everyone, how are you all ? I hope everyone is as well as they can be. I just wanted to pop in to say hi and let you no I am coming up to my 2 year post ablation this August !! WOW CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW TIME FLYS . I just wanted to say I still get runs of funny sensations but the gap became longer between episodes! I would like to stress it took me a good 12 months before I actually felt the full benefits, I also will update you on something I can not stress enough to you all about ! SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR!!!! It definitely triggers palpitations and I have linked it to mine , not enough water is also definitely a trigger for me . I still do not ever drink caffeine that is a massive trigger for ectopic beats for me so I stay well away from it . I no for a fact mine are vagal as if I move in a certain way I might get a run of SVES that’s what they said I still get from time to time but I can live with them for now , I was speaking with my EP a few months ago when they discharged me and he said they no for a fact sugar is definitely a trigger!! I still have to keep my meals small as a full tummy might give me some extra beats so I had to just try and change a few things . Isn’t it strange how I had that one 7 hour run of PAF back in 2015 and they couldn’t even get it started on my ablation day and it up to now hasn’t happened since? I don’t want to jinx myself here but I am trying to get on with my life now and live each day with hope that it will stay at bay for as long as possible. EP told me one day it may come back and we will deal with it again with an ablation procedure if needed! So guys I am still here and only take my lowest dose of beater blocker now , they said I could just stop it but I prefer to stay on it just as a safety umbrella ☔️ best wishes to you all
