Welcome to the mad world of AF Oaktreebee. Everyone here has it and we all understand - and remember - what it felt like to get such a diagnosis. However, there is plenty of knowledge and support here and if there is anything you need to know - just ask.
Thank you all for your welcome messages.
Hello and welcome Oaktreebee. There is a mass of information available on the AF Association webpages which will help you to understand the complexities of AF together with the treatment options used to manage the condition. Many here can add there own personal experiences which, as we all know from experience, will help you to move forward.

Sorry you have a need to be here but so glad you found this forum! They are a great group if people full of excellent advice and support!!!
Had two attacks, one last October, One early January...cut out lots of caffeine, alcohol, increased exercise, do not lie on my side anymore, which seemed to set it off, sleep in recliner, lost a few lbs...Occasional skip heartbeat here and there, very little flutter symptons, much better, steady beat with these revisions, also some deep breathing, see what happens
Welcome, nothing to add its all been said, great group to join.

Hi yes I was to in Sept last year very scary but talking on here helps
Suggest you watch Dr Sanjay Gupta ‘s video on AFIb it explains things about our condition extremely well. More knowledge of it is important to us. Wish you well.
Welcome!!! Wonderful forum - wonderful people 🙌
Welcome, this group is a wonderful source of knowledge, compassion and sympathy and the best place to visit if you feel overwhelmed by what is happening to you (and even if not!)
Do ask absolutely anything you need to know on here & all the wonderful people on here will answer, or direct you where to find the most relevant information. No worry is too minor to share here & you will feel heaps better just by feeling supported and gaining as much knowledge about AF as you can.
Best wishes
