A toothpick in the heart.

There is a 2" clip in the Daily Mail, dated 2/2/19, about a man in south China who has apparently had a toothpick lodged in his right atrium. He apparently swallowed it 4 years ago having put it into a drink so that he could identify it as his.

He apparently spent over £22,000 trying to identify the cause of his fevers and lung inflammation. He was treated for sepsis and leukaemia before doctors pinpointed the toothpick in his right atrium.

If nothing else, this indicates the proximity of the stomach to the heart!

Poor man, how absolutely dreadful!

As a child I was biting on a string of beads, when they suddenly snapped and I passed out. The largest glass bead was never found and I swear it's been the cause of my lifetime sore stomach. Hmm I feel a bout of hypochondria coming over me! Lol.
