My happy place

I went for a walk today (first since ablation). This park bench is not far from our house. It’s a great place to sit and watch the boats, birds and dolphins. Looking forward to getting back to walking more over the coming weeks.

No, it’s the Estuary in Mandurah. I have a few favourite walking and cycling spots along the Sean River too though, and around the Canning River, and along our beaches. I love being surrounded by water.

What a beautiful spot! I'd love to live near the water/sea so am feeling somewhat envious. All good wishes for your continued recovery,

Oh Kaz how lovely. When I left hospital in August after a 7 and a half week stay I went to a Convalescent Home with views of the sea and south coast. The sunrises were spectacular and it helped with my recovery. When life throws c**p at you it helps to have a special place to go to. Enjoy it. X
