I had the same problem & have just been changed again. This time I am trying candesartan and seems ok so far fingers crossed
It's just a thought Sandflopper, but I've discovered that whenever I'm not breathing correctly that's when I'll get slightly high BP. Just try some deep breathing, letting the air whoosh out of your mouth quickly as you breathe out, to see if that reduces your blood pressure level. Once I reduce mine it generally stays that way.

Tried 5 till I found one that did the job. ibersartan is the name and been on it for more years than I care to remember,
