Before I had AF and a enlarged heart chamber I did all the manual jobs around the house like all the difficult jobs in the garden, exterior decorating. Interior decorating but now my wife’s dose all the jobs she can manage inside and out plus getting people in that she can’t manage.
My consultant has giving me the impression that there’s nothing he can’t do for me, I’m 72.
Any advice anybody....?

Accept that this is now your life. I'm older than you and still building race car engines but more slowly! ha ha. Don't beat yourself up. You are still alive so enjoy doing what you can but listen to your body and don't over do it.
If the AF is now controlled there is every possibility that the atrium may reduce in size and things may improve but all treatment is only ever about improving quality of life as there is no sure fire cure.
