Q10 - are they all the same?

I’ve been thinking about starting Q10. Are there any particular types that are absorbed better by the body? Also, what is the best strength to take on a daily basis?

Do you mean COQ10? If so no they are definately not all the same - personally I favour Nature’s Aid 100 Mg daily but other reputable manufacturer’s such as Lambert’s, Solgar, Biocare are good.

Just stay away from the cheaper Hight Street brands as they have a high filler content which varies. Always look for the IHU score or read the amount of ‘active ingredient’ to compare - NOT the capsule weight which is often printed in bold on the label front and can be very misleading.

I had reflux problems with COQ10 and changed to milled flaxseed (linseed) which I understand has similar properties and is widely available in supermarkets.
