Do you mean that you have an enlarged heart ? This is a common lay name for enlarged atrium which is common with AF.

I see thanks I was just worried like crazy for the past view days getting stress out not eating

Hello Boysie, I hope you don’t mind me mentioning, but it would help us if you checked your posts before sending. Predictive spelling may have its uses, but when dealing with medical issues it can be very misleading!

That said, as BobD says, an enlarged heart (atrium) is a common result from having AF, particularly if the condition continues unchecked. Very often the heart can revert to normal if properly medicated or if some other form of treatment is used control the AF. I’m not medically trained, but my understanding is that the heart rate should ideally be below 100 beats per minute. I assume you are receiving specialist help otherwise you would not know you had an enlarged heart.....hope this helps

I had an enlarged heart but after treatment for AF it has now gone back to near normal. So it is reversible.
