At around 3 minutes in he talks about "young people" without ever defining what that means. Does he mean children?

Inevitably, any time criterion is arbitrary. The significance is presumably in deciding whether to recommend anticoagulation.
AF burden would be a better guide. 20 episodes lasting a total of 500 seconds over 24 hours would be more significant than I episode lasting 30 seconds I suppose
