It stands for Electrophysiologist, a cardiologist specialising in heart rhythms. ie they are 'electricians' as opposed to the cardiologists who are 'plumbers' and are the specialists who are the real experts on AF.
There is, by the way, a useful pinned post on 'Abbreviations and Acronyms' to the right hand side of the messages here which you probably haven't spotted.
