Whats an Inbox

Peeps are getting Inboxed, is that the message system, or cakes at Christmas?

If you click on the down arrow beside your ID at the top of the screen, you will see Messages. This is a means of sending private messages between members.

It's one of the good social aspects of this site where people can discuss something a little more personal with a member they trust, or stuff that is not always AF related to appease some of the more "traditional" group users.

In addition to what Finvola has said .... if you're reading a member's message (in any thread) you can click on their name and this will take you to their profile page and from there you can message them directly by clicking on the 'message' box - top right.

I find this quicker/easier if I want to message someone directly as a result of something they've posted that I am then reading.
