Has anyone had a home monitor to report back to the hospital with any faults with my pacemaker

Home monitor for reporting any problems with the pacemaker and it reports to the hospital if anything is wrong and then ring me it also is saving a 6 month visit has anyone else got these monitors it does it via a dongle on the monitor technology at its best mick mm

Yes I have had one by my bed for the last 7 years and to date has not caused any problems. Still have annual checks.

Yes, I was given one in May this year. It is not the Bluetooth sort that reports on its own it's a Merlin and you do have to use the wand! I have sent my first report in and I did phone them just to check it had worked for the first time, and it had. They will send out a letter to prompt me when they want another reading. Clever stuff and saves an 2 hour drive. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for the reply no want with money just a dongle that transmits a signal via I built in sim and connects to the hospital website then to the pace maker clinic my report is now shedualed for 6 months then a 12 month review at the clinic thanks mickmm
