It seems that the "so called" advanced countries have messed health care up to the point that the citizens lose, lose, lose! The balance has been lost. Greed has become the priority.

Can you be more specific? As with a lot of things health care is a mixed bag.It depends on where you live, the quality and interest of your GP, your consultant at the hospital you visit, your surgeon., the quality of carers and many more things.

Health care in these countries is effective at much less cost so what are we missing? In Canada it seems to get more and more expensive with a greater challenge of providing the needed services. All of what you mention is very true.

Sourcing most things from Asia or South America is cheaper - why do you expect healthcare to be any different ?

The problem arises when you can't source product or services from your own country. Have you ever tried to buy a European or US manufactured phone recently ?

Seems to be a US perspective in this article not what Australians or UK residents would associate with health care - as we dont have to pay for top Health Care .

A non reciprocal patient in Oz or UK would run up a large bill but no where near what US health providers charge.
