My AF was discovered in 2000 and stay without symptoms (propafenona150 mg/day) until 2015. Then got wild with no medication that keep me without symptoms for more than 3 weeks. Neither cardiologist nor EP can explain the sudden change. Has anyone experience the same?
Thanks yo everyone. Felix

Hello Felix! As you haven't had any replies so far, it looks like not many people have had AF for 15 years with no change and then a sudden difference. Do you have AF all the time?
I had a similar experience, Propafenone for 7/8 years with no noticeable episodes then all went pearshaped, dizziness, runs of AF, finally admitted to hospital with chest pain, near blackout etc. The story goes on but the ending is that I was found to have little pauses in HB on meds so had ablation, no meds except anticoagulant and much better. I think the change was down to age, I 'm 72 now.
I was hospitalized in 2000 with AF diagnose. Since then normal life until 2015. Now my regret regards my poor life quality and the lost opportunity I had to change my stylife back in those days. Simply, no doctor told me AF could appear so bad.
I hope you enjoyed yourself! Some people make themselves miserable giving up everything they like and taking supplements on top and still have bad AF! I hope things calm down soon.
