I had Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few years ago, which burned itself out by a couple of years ago. Was diagnosed with Paroxysmal AF a couple of months ago, and have since discovered that a disproportionate number of PMR sufferers also have AF. I would be very interested to know if there are others in my area similarly afflicted with both conditions. It seems difficult here to get referred to an EP unless specifically for ablation , and I'd love to know if others have cracked this in the Cambridge area.

Hi Hilary and welcome to our forum. It doesn't appear that anyone in the Cambridge area is able to respond to your post. Such a shame, but don't give up asking questions on this forum as we're all very helpful.
Best wishes
Jean
