Yes, Bob referred to that a few times - it came from Dr Sanjay Gupta and involves slowing your breathing down to six breaths per minute for at least five minutes. I found it helps to count slowly as this helps concentration.

I have been doing this whenever I feel anxious and/or feel a few palpitations and it seems to really help. Havent had any a fib in 4 mo, but when I get overly tired it feels like I might, mostly in the evening. A few minutes of deep breathing and I dont feel any more palpitations.
This man is amazing! If all heart specialists were like him, we'd all be so much better.
I have found with practise that I can get down to less than four breaths a minute quite happily for at least five minutes and amazed myself how much lung capacity I seldom use. Getting that diaphragm really pulled down and then up again is the secret. If you are lying on your back try to push you stomach down onto your spine to really empty those lungs.
