when do side effects stop becoming apparent

Hi

I am on Apixoban.

My question is, do any side effects happen in the first couple of months and then settle down and disappear. In other words if I have side effects now, will they eventually disappear?

thanks for help

For many they do disappear after 3 months, sometimes six. For others they don't. No guarantees unfortunately!!! Key - DON'T WORRY. What will be will be!!!!

I've been taking Apixaban for two and a half years and have had no side effects in that time.

It rather depends on what the side effects are and when you noticed them. The patient information sheet lists side effects and gives advice on the necessary action.

If you have any concerns, I would advise you to contact your pharmacy or your GP.
