I have just had my results from an echo utrasound. The results indicate a mild to moderate regurgation of the aortic valve and a slight thickening right artial valve. I have PAF treated with PIP Bisoprol. I wonder if the conditions are linked. Any comments or observations would be most welcome. I am due to see my GP mid January. May I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous new year. Roy

Hi, Well, some of the things that can cause aortic valve regurg. are the same things that can be at the root of AF, like long standing hypertension , and aging. As long as you still have a good ejection fraction, it's not something that is terribly worrisome. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a New Year of NSR!
Thank you Grandma Just to add to the points you made I am 68 and never suffered from Hypertension. May I wish A very Merry Christmas to you and yours and wishing you a Very Happy New year for 2016.
